Why We All Need More Money
I teach my clients that income is gas pedal when it comes to building wealth. Passive or active, it doesn’t matter. You need more income. I practice this myself as well. Income can only be earned through an exchange where one party feels a product or service is more valuable than money and exchanges money for that product or service. This is even the case with passive income from an investment where a person feels the money, they will pay is worth the exchange back they’ll get of having a roof over their head and a nice place to live.
So, while I am going to write about the importance of income right now, I want to also enforce that if you’re doing it without consent, it’s theft. If you’re doing it without exchanging real value, it’s also theft. Income for the sake of income where you aren’t bettering others will eventually catch up with a person. Period.
We’ve all heard the phrase “money makes the world go round.” There is some truth to it. But growing up and into my young adult years I used to hate on money. Why? Because I found myself limited by it. I didn’t have much money and most of the things I wanted to do required it. Virtually everything costs money. But me deciding I hated money didn’t fix the problem.
